The Kochi-Muziris Biennale will take place this year on December 12 at Fort Kochi in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. Since its beginning in 2012, the much anticipated international art show has captured the hearts of art enthusiasts. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, an every-two-year art exhibition, was not scheduled to take place in 2020–21.
The Kochi-Muziris Biennale's fifth iteration is now taking place this year. The art show will run through April 10, 2023. There will be exhibitions spread out across several venues in Kochi, Muziris, and other nearby districts.
It's no secret that the festival frequently hosts exhibitions in unique locations, including galleries as well as oddball locations like abandoned warehouses and open public spaces.
The Kochi-Muziris Biennale showcases cutting-edge works of art from all over the world, not just from India. A variety of media are featured in the exhibition, including movies, art installations, paintings, sculptures, performance art, and new media (digital technology).
There will also be a number of workshops, including discussions, seminars, special screenings, musical performances, kid-friendly educational activities, and expert-led workshop sessions, in addition to these intriguing art displays.
