To promote Kasaragod as a tourist destination, Kerala is holding a 10-day International Beach Festival. The festival got underway on December 24 against the breathtaking Bekal Fort background.
The festival, which celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the nation and captures the essence of the district's distinctive culture and artistic expression, was launched at the magnificent Bekal Beach Park by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The festival will comprise a feast of cultural and musical events, along with food festivals that will feature genuine Kasargod cuisine, and it also intends to emphasise the district's development by demonstrating its potential.
Beach sports will be the festival's main draw, drawing visitors from all over the world to this location to take part in this event.
According to rumours, the concert will feature a number of well-known performers, including the Nooran Sisters, Sithara Krishnakumar, Vidhu Prathap, Shabnam Riyaz, Mohammed Aslam, Praseetha Chalakudy, Mattannur Sankarankutty Marar, and Stephen Devassy, among others.
A robotic display, a helicopter ride, a flower show, a kite festival, water sports, sand art, a bridal fashion competition, a fashion show, a national business trade expo, an aqua show, and other activities are among the other events that will be held on different days.
The beach festival will feature performances by over a thousand national and local performers, and tourists can take advantage of the Yathrashree tour package to see some of the most fascinating tourist locations in the Kasargod region.
Additionally, one can choose to take in the local cuisine as well as the Theyyam, Alamikkali, and Yakshagana arts of Kasargod.
