After a recent introduction, tourists visiting Jaisalmer will now be able to take helicopter rides. According to sources, the A1 helicopter service provider has a contract with the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) for the joyrides that have been introduced at Sam on a trial basis.

Recently, the project was set off by Minority Affairs Minister Saleh Mohammed, Minister of State for Tourism Murari Lal Meena, RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore, District Collector Tina Dabi, and other guests.

In reference to this, Dabi further stated that the helicopter trip will give the tourism industry a new identity. She continued by saying that as of right now, travellers would be able to enjoy parasailing, paramotoring, and helicopter joyrides, which will be a welcome addition to the tourism package.

According to reports, the helicopter thrill flights have only recently begun, and there are ambitious plans to link additional tourist destinations to create a tourism circuit by air routes in the future.

According to reports, tourist circuits based on religious, animal, and heritage categories would be developed so that visitors can see more destinations in less time.

RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore provided additional information regarding the joyrides, including that the minimum ticket cost per visitor has been set at INR 7,000, and 200 visitors will be able to use this service via 40 journeys each day. He also mentioned that there will be two timeslots for the joyride: 5 minutes and 15 minutes.
