Your trip to Jammu will quickly turn out to be exciting. Due to their isolation and difficulty in accessibility, certain areas of the Valley remain unexplored. But soon, all will change! According to the most recent news sources, individuals in Jammu's rural areas will soon have access to helicopter transportation to get to their homes during the winter.

This will be advantageous not only for the inhabitants, but it will also give tourists a chance to visit distant places.

The decision was made during a meeting that was presided over by Jammu Provincial Commissioner Romesh Kumar and attended by the Deputy Commissioners of the districts of Kishtwar, Ramban, Doda, Rajouri, and Poonch as well as representatives from Global Vectra Helicopter Private Limited and the CISF.

To assure the readiness of the specified helipads in their respective districts, the Provincial Commissioner has ordered the relevant Deputy Commissioners to appoint Nodal Officers and undertake a joint inspection with the technical team of Global Vectra Helicopter.

Additionally, for the convenience of the public, the Provincial Commissioner has instructed Global Vectra Helicopter to investigate the possibility of online ticket purchasing. According to reports, Global Vectra Helicopter will work with the Joint Director of Tourism to ensure hassle-free services.
