CM Dhami Launches Cleanliness Drive in Nainital for Uttarayani Celebration

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the state's "Cultural Festival" from Kainchidham on Sunday, urging people to engage in a cleanliness campaign at Kainchidham and Ghorakhal temple. Commencing with the cleaning of Shri Ram Shila in Kainchi Dham, he offered prayers and actively participated in the Shri Ram Bhajan program held in the Kainchi Dham temple complex.

 

In a proactive move, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched a Cleanliness Drive in Nainital as part of the Uttarayani Celebration. He encouraged public participation in the campaign, extending it to Kainchidham and Ghorakhal temple. The initiative began with the cleaning of Shri Ram Shila in Kainchi Dham, followed by active involvement in the Shri Ram Bhajan program at the Kainchi Dham temple complex. The Chief Minister also offered prayers to Neeb Karori Baba and distributed Prasad to devotees, engaging with citizens from different states to gather feedback on government functioning. Commending the efforts of Prayavaran Mitras in the cleanliness campaign, he honored school children, self-help groups, village heads, and Prayavaran Mitras with citations. The event marks a significant step towards promoting cleanliness and community engagement in Uttarakhand.

Earlier, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Neeb Karori Baba, extending wishes for the state's happiness, peace, and prosperity. He distributed Prasad, gathered feedback from people across states, and acknowledged the contributions of Prayavaran Mitras in the cleanliness campaign. School children, self-help groups, village heads, and Prayavaran Mitras were honored with citations.

 

Looking ahead, CM Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami anticipates January 22 as a historic day, as Ram Lalla will be seated in Ayodhya. The state government plans cultural festivals and cleanliness campaigns at religious and tourist places, emphasizing public participation. Additionally, a master plan for Kainchi Dham is in progress, designed for the next five decades.

 

Kainchi Dham's global recognition is escalating, with a growing influx of devotees daily. The government, anticipating increased visitors in the next five decades, is formulating a comprehensive master plan for Kainchi Dham. This strategic plan aims to enhance facilities for devotees, fostering growth in religious and spiritual tourism, thereby fortifying the government's economy.
