India is the best tourism market for Vietnam, according to the chief executive officer (CEO) of Vietnam-based Vietravel, who made the statement on Wednesday during a special event held at the Vietnamese embassy in Delhi. According to Tran Doan The Duy, CEO of Vietravel, "India is the best tourism market for us after the complete China closure."
The CEO of Vietravel emphasised that they are working to provide the best services to Indian visitors who choose to travel to Vietnam rather than Thailand. However, Vietnam is quickly becoming a popular new travel destination, according to the CEO of Vietravel.
Nguyen Thanh Hai, the ambassador for Vietnam, added the following: "It is now appropriate for Indian tourists to travel to Vietnam and discover the 2,000-year-old cultural ties that exist between the two nations, particularly those that exist between the Cham people and the country's natural beauty, which includes several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Indians can now travel to Vietnam with greater ease because to direct flights that are less than 5 hours distant."

Vietravel, the country of Vietnam's leading aviation and tourist firm, and the Vietnamese Embassy in India organised a conference titled "Vietnam - A Spectacular Destination" in early November 2022 following a succession of successful tourism promotion events in Thailand and Middle Eastern nations.
In the final season of 2022 to 2023, these events seek to exhibit and promote travel between the two countries.
